Meghmani Group is involved in various social development activities to promote the standard of life of poor and needy families. A variety of initiatives are undertaken by the group time to time as per the need of the society. Major scope of these activities includes Education, Health and Wellness, Women Empowerment, Skill Development etc. Meghmani Charitable Trust has been the instrumental to undertake these activities. Major social development initiatives of the group are given below:
Health and Wellness
- Health Check up and Blood Donation Camp
- Organized in the month of December every year in Village Trent, Ahmedabad
- Free health Check-up of citizens of Trent and nearby villages by qualified and experienced team of doctors
- Doctors visited from different specializations like Cardiac, Neuro, ENT, Eyes, pediatrician, Gynecologist etc.
- Blood collection activity by a team of medical professionals from Red Cross Society
- End to End logistic arrangements for patients
- Medical Support to patients in Trent village
- Expenses incurred on medical treatment reimbursed to poor and needy persons
- Distribution of specs to needy persons free of charge
Education
- Free education to students through own network of schools and colleges
- Distribution of school uniform, Notebooks and textbooks to students free of charge
- Residential facilities for students free of charge
- Special residential arrangements for girls
Scholarships
- Free Scholarships to students of samaj on meeting the performance criteria of Meghmani Parivar for scholarships

Training to farmers
As a routine practice of Meghmani team, over 100 experienced and qualified sales executives deputed at various parts of the country visit the farms to interact with farmers to impart training on latest farming techniques and safe handling of pesticides. Interaction cum training includes other substantial area of croping like water conservation, cleanliness, Animal Health etc.
At times the Subject Matter Specialists from State Deptt of Agriculture and Agricultural University are also invited to farmers’ training sessions.
The training efforts are supplemented with the distribution of technical literature and mass media in local language for effective dissemination of knowledge.
